At Mount Meru hospital in Arusha during the month of June 2011, Rachelle completed a medical elective and Keisha, Arryl and Chayne, Nursing volunteer work. You can follow their experiences on the “Blog”. They visited the Paradiso Orphanage and were inspired to find a way to help out. With donations from our MOWW supporters, making a meaningful difference in the lives of the Paradiso orphans has been possible.
Early 2011, the foundation of the new Paradiso Children’s Home was in place. Through donations to MOWW, the home was completed and the family moved in March 2012. Further donations went towards wiring, tiling, outdoor bathrooms, building a fence around the property, beds for the children and sewing machines. MOWW is currently helping to provide for the children.
